Special Education
My name is Michelle Terry. I graduated from BYU with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. Then I continued my education and received my master of science in special education from Western Governors University. Education is of great importance to me. I am always striving to learn more every day. I hope my love of learning is contagious and that my students will catch that same desire through my enthusiasm. I truly do care for my students and want them to be as successful as possible.
I have three kids of my own, two boys and a girl. Together we like to play board games, watch movies, and go on fun vacations. One of our favorite places to visit is Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. We have a great time screaming on the biggest and fastest roller coasters!
Besides travelling, some other activities I enjoy are dancing and going to concerts. My favorite band is the Killers!!! I am a little obsessed. If they are in town, I will be at their concert every time!
I have enjoyed working in special education at Athenian Academy. I feel passionate about being an advocate for students and helping them to realize they can accomplish more than they thought. I look forward to getting to know the students more every year.
