I developed my passion for teaching in the Baltics in 1997, shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union. Living there, I also gained a greater appreciation for history and the U.S. Constitution. Since then, I have been a social science teacher, advisor, counselor, and administrator in traditional public, charter, private, and virtual schools, where I have loved helping students develop the motivation and skills to overcome challenges and reach their potential.
I received my B.A. in political science from BYU and my M.Ed. and administrator license from SUU. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, as well as basketball, weightlifting, hiking, wakeboarding, and other sports. I am looking forward to new adventures as I get to know and work with all of you!
